Fiber is very much important for both maintenance and curing of intestine. We can broadly classify these fibers into two categories soluble fibers and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers are also called the dietary fibers which are the components of the vegetables and fruits and helps in maintaining the digestive system.
It helps in consuming the food by insuring the proper working of digestive system and prevents us from diseases like constipation etc. Fibers also help in moving the food through digestive tract and easing defecation.
You can get natural fiber from various foods such as soybeans, peas and other types of beans. Grains are also the rich source of these natural fibers such as oats and rye. Various types of fruits such as berries, plums and vegetables such as carrots, broccoli and potatoes also care the rich source of fibers.
For good and healthy intestine you should avoid to eat genetically modified fruits and vegetables as they are harmful for the intestine. You should also avoid oily foods as they do harm to our intestines.
