Brainerd diarrhea is a syndrome of extreme onset of water diarrhea that exists either for 4 weeks or more than that. The patients who are suffering from Brainerd diarrhea has to go through the frequent explosives like water diarrhea and mostly featured by urgency and fecal incontinence. The symptoms of Brainerd diarrhea are gas, nausea, vomit and fatigue. Some patients may also experience with the loss of body weight.

Basically there are four types of diarrhea. They are osmotic diarrhea, secretory diarrhea, motility-related diarrhea and inflammatory diarrhea.
Diarrhea generally becomes more complicated when it leads to dehydration. Excessive loss of fluids and minerals from the body results in dehydration. Dehydration is common among both adult and children. Patient with acute diarrhea have large amounts of stool, and vomiting. Viral gastroenteritis or bacterial infection is the cause of dehydration among infants and young children.

Diarrhea is generally best treated with home care. However, it is necessary to get medical help if it persists beyond five days and if the patient becomes dehydrated, as evidence by dry mouth or skin, less or nil urination, dizziness, dark colored urine or excessive thirst.

Bacteria mostly affect the small intestine and colon and generally results in most serious cases of diarrhea. Enterocolitis is caused by bacteria which lead to inflammation of the small intestine and colon. Some of the symptoms of bacterial enterocolitis are inflammation of colon, abdominal pain, fever, blood in stool etc. Campylobacter jejuni, Salmonella, Shigella, and EPEC are the bacteria which generally cause enterocolitis. Bacteria generally affect the people who drink contaminated water or eat contaminated food.
Diarrhea is a common problem of the tummy in which patient generally produce loose and watery stool. This disease generally causes dehydration due to which body lacks the essential fluid which is required to function properly. This disease is generally dangerous in case of children and elderly people and must be treated as soon as possible.
